Trinidad 7 Pod Primo

This is not your typical red Trinidad 7 pod; instead this one has more heat than most red 7 pods we ever planted. Much appreciation for our friend Christopher Phillips from MI. who sent us the seeds for this rare variety, one of the most important characteristics of this pepper is the thin wrinkly skin it has, the relatively small pod has small spikes on the outside surface. When you cut this pod open the capsicum oil is very obvious, we found this pepper has a distinctive flavor close to Trinidad scorpion more than the 7 pod, the heat is insane, and this is the best superhot pepper for powders as the pods dry very easily due to the thin walls. Again be extremely cautious when handling this one or any of the 7 pods.
