This Sweet Pepper certainly has no heat; what it does have is an intensity of flavour and colour possibly not seen or tasted before. The slender 6" - 8" (15 - 20 cm) long fruits mature to a gorgeous, almost luxuriant, deep red colour with a sweetness all of their own. These are perfect for using in the conventional way you would any other pepper, yet this variety was in fact bred for drying and making into Paprika due its very thick flesh - this really is a 'meaty" pepper.
Whether you choose to use it for Paprika, adding deep colour to stir fry's and salsas, roasting and using to top bruschetta, or preserving in oil, we really cannot recommend this variety enough (and we haven't even mentioned its even more sublime flavour when its smoked).
